Stewart has had more than thirty years' experience working as an actor and voiceover artist. He is a member of Equity and Spotlight and ran his own theatre company for ten years. He has been featured on BBC's 'Pick of the Week' programme on a number of occasions. Since winning the BBC Poetry Speaker of the Year Award in 1994 he has worked on a wide range of voice projects including:
